"My contribution to this project, Saturn, will be my first solo piano work, which will fill a major lacuna in my catalogue and allow me to take my craft in a new and previously unexplored direction. As well, the subject matter for this work connects beautifully with my lifelong interest in astronomy, giving me another level of inspiration ."

The concert will be lit by the projections of stunning images of the solar system and beyond, created in collaboration with the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre.

	This multi-media spectacle takes full advantage the planetarium's high-resolution video and overhead panoramic screen. The audience will listen to music never before heard while looking up at the celestial bodies that inspired it.
